WAMDIA: Second Transnational meeting in Budapest – Associazione PRISM

The second transnational meeting of the WAMDIA project has been held in Budapest hosted in the welcoming venues of SZÁMALK-Szalézi Szakgimnázium.

WAMDIA is a Strategic Partnerships in the field of Vocational and Educational Training within the frame of Erasmus+ KA-2. The overall objective of the project is to enhance the concept of Digital Accessibility in order to change the mind-set of traditional ICT users so everybody can contribute to common files accessibility.

After an analysis of the situation in the participating countries (Spain, Italy, Hungary, Ireland and Sweden), an online survey has been launched within the main target groups (namely non-ICT VET teachers and managers, public employees and managers and SME employees and managers) to perceive the topic of the implementation of Digital Accessibility in their daily activities. Moreover, a series of face to face interviews has been carried out to increase the awareness and involvement of stakeholders.

The meeting has been an important opportunity in order to analyse the results of the researches conducted in the partners countries and to monitor the current status of the project. Furthermore, the partnership have profited of the meeting to discuss about the improvement of the project management and planning the Training Course and the Awareness Campaign foreseen in the second Output of the project.

The third meeting will be held in Dublin, in January 2019 to verify the project progress and compare the results obtained among the partners.
