The iAware project addresses the need to increase adult computer skills in today’s online reality. The digital revolution is changing the way Europeans live, work and learn. There are few training courses and programs that teach adults how to navigate the current reality full of threats such as fake news, hate, buying comments, fraud, clickbait, etc. The project is a Strategic Partnership for Adult Education, funded by the Erasmus + Program. Activities started in December 2019 and will end in May 2021.
The main objectives are:
– Creating a modern ICT adult education programme (“iAware”) taking into account the contemporary challenges of the Internet
– Providing ICT trainers / adult educators with the right tools, knowledge and skills
– Increasing ICT key competences for adults in the EU and building social cooperation
– Strengthening the potential of partner organisations
