Online Kick-off meeting of SE4you

Social enterprise is a form of business that is getting more and more relevance as a job sector, mostly among young people. We, as Prism, are a direct example of how through our activities it’s possible to build a solid local network able to translate social demands and issues into proposals and solutions. For this reason, we’ve been involved on a transnational project gathering 6 partners from Iceland (coordinator), Cyprus, Greece, Italy Lithuania and the Republic of North Macedonia. In all the partners countries, except Italy and Greece there is not a specific regulatory framework for social enterprise, and the sector does not benefit from sufficient visibility and recognition. On this purpose, the project aims to fill this gap, and create a support structure able to provide precious information and assistance to young people aspiring to become social entrepreneurs.

Partners gathered for the online kick off meeting in the morning of 16th September. After the partner reciprocal introduction and the exposition of the activity plan of the project, the agenda of the meeting mainly focused on the timeline and guidelines of Intellectual Output 1: a roadmap for the creation of social enterprise in 10 steps. The partners also agreed on the date of the next online meeting, scheduled for the first week of November

The project started on the 1st September 2020, and is funded under the program Erasmus+, KA2 – Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices in the field of youth. It will last until August 2022.
