MIVA: Second and third workshops of the Intercultural Cooking Course

The second and third workshops of the Intercultural Cooking Course were implemented on 15th and 17th October at the “Ginger – People & Food” restaurant in Agrigento. The course offers the opportunity to experience an intercultural cooking laboratory with the proposition of African, Italian and Sicilian recipes. In particular, the preparation of sauces, couscous and rice. The workshops are coordinated by the Senegalese chef Ndeye Mareme Sagar Cisse, awarded at the World Couscous Championship 2019 in San Vito Lo Capo.

The MIVA project aims to contribute to the integration of third-country citizens by promoting dialogue, volunteering, capacity building and intercultural animation processes in different local communities in Europe.
