Workshops of the Intercultural Cooking Course were implemented on 22, 24, 29, 31 October and 5, 7 and 12 November, at the “Ginger – People & Food” restaurant in Agrigento. The course offers the opportunity to experience an intercultural cooking laboratory with the proposition of African, Italian and Sicilian recipes. Furthermore the workshops are an opportunity for intercultural exchange and dialogue. The workshops are coordinated by the Senegalese chef Ndeye Mareme Sagar Cisse, awarded at the World Couscous Championship 2019 in San Vito Lo Capo.
The MIVA project aims to contribute to the integration of third-country citizens by promoting dialogue, volunteering, capacity building and intercultural animation processes in different local communities in Europe.
