Kick off meeting of the POMELO Project
The first meeting of the POMELO project has been held in the enchanting city of Brno in Czech Republic, hosted by the organization Spolek Pelican, z.s. The partnership gathered for the first time had the opportunity to clarify several procedural aspects in order to strength the awareness about the main objectives and Outputs.
Under the Erasmus+ Program (KA2 Strategic Partnerships in the field of youth), POMELO is an answer to the need for effective integration practices for migrant youth. The main objective is to use Music as Social Inclusion Enhancer improving literacy, communication and feeling of social cohesion. More specifically to improve the effective integration practices for migrant youth and between migrant and local youths in the EU community in order to foster a multicultural enhancement path through the implementation of innovative educational methodology.
After 2 days of meetings, the partnership has achieved the objectives of the meeting discussing in details the Intellectual Outputs starting in the first quarter and designing the action plan for the coming months. The positive atmosphere created between the partners has made it possible to lay solid foundations for the development of project activities, which will last for 2 years. The next meeting will be held in Greece in September, to evaluate the first results obtained after the first 9 months of the project.
