Info-day: MIVA: Migrants’ Integration through Volunteering Activities

PRISM in cooperation with “Fondazione Comunitaria di Agrigento e Trapani” organized on 7th May an info-day of the project “MIVA: Migrants’ Integration through Volunteering Activities”. The event was held at Farm Cultural Park including an introduction of the project and the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund, with a focus on the co-development of a cross-cultural and capacity building programme aimed to promote social cohesion, intercultural dialogue and inclusive growth in the local communities involved.
The objective of this project is to promote the implementation of interactive activities to enhance the integration of Third Country Nationals’ through their participation in the social and cultural life of the host community, and to foster capacity-building of local communities on successful integration via volunteering and cultural actions.

The project engages local communities from Athens (Greece), Nicosia (Cyprus), Warsaw (Poland), Helsinki (Finland), Agrigento & Palermo (Italy), Paris (France).
