Coding for Young People is an Erasmus+ Key Action 2 Strategic partnership in the field of youth. The project is aimed at transferring and implementing innovative practices in the field of PROGRAMMING in NON-FORMAL EDUCATION at European level.
The consortium “Migrations, Integration and Co-Development in Europe” is pleased to introduce final recommendations on a common European policy on migration and asylum, summarizing the conclusions of a participatory project that involved 16 civil society organizations from 15 European countries and local communities from Italy, Cyprus, Belgium, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Lithuania, Latvia, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria.
On January 16th and 17th 2016, Prism hosted in Palermo the kick-off meeting of the project “Sustain your life through social entrepreneurship” funded with support of the Erasmus+ programme under the Key Action 2 “Strategic Partnership in the field of youth”. The meeting involve project coordinators and representatives of the partner organizations Prism - Promozione Internazionale Sicilia – Mondo (Italy) Società Consortile Rocca di Cerere (Italy), Consulta Europa Projects And Innovation (Spain), “Stichting Hogeschool Rotterdam (The Netherlands), Asociatia Dominou (Romania), Freguesia de Cascais e Estorill (Portugal), Vilniaus Kolegija (Lithuania).

According to the UNICEF report “Why addressing child poverty is a critical component of the Post-2015 Development Agenda” millions of children around the world miss out on their childhood as a result of poverty and conflicts.
Prism is pleased to introduce the booklet “Young side of the Moon”, summarizing the conclusions of an intense cooperation and exchange of experiences in the field of youth and community development, involving 48 youth workers and 8 organizations from Italy, Senegal, Kenya, India, Vietnam, Latvia, Greece, Cyprus.
The booklet is intended as a learning resource to support non-formal training on Porject Cycle Management (PCM) in the frame of youth work and community development, with a focus on how PCM could be experimented with non-formal education and theatre.
Overall the booklet aims to provide inspiration and guidelines to provide youth workers with knowledge, key competences and practical tools needed for the development and delivery of community-based projects that responds to identified young people community’s needs. During the training participants are guided through the various stages of project cycle management and engaged to successfully turn common ideas into an action plan that responds to identified young people community’s needs.
