In the registered office of PRISM in Enna, from 3 to 4 of December has been implemented the Kick of meeting of the project iAware. A group of partners coming from Poland, Portugal and Italy come to Enna for this occasion, in order to plan the first step for the project implementation.
The project addresses the need to raise adult ICT competences in current online reality. The digital revolution is changing the way Europeans live, work and learn. It offers great opportunities, but is associated with threats. There are few trainings and programmes that would teach adults how to navigate in the current reality full of threats: fake news, hate, buying comments, bots, trolling, clickbait, the problem of verifying information sources, fraud.
The meeting has been a fruitful moment to analyse together the management activities, and in this way creating a stronger cohesion among the project partners. The project will consist of 5 transnational meeting divided among Poland and Portugal, with workshop dedicated to staff and experts. The main objective will be presenting the outputs, passing on knowledge and know-how, testing developed products, taking into account comments and determining a possible correction process. The next meeting will be held in Lisbon in February.
The project is a Strategic Partnerships for adult education, financed by the Erasmus+ Program. The activities started in December 2019 and will end in May 2021.
