The project ‘Revival entrepreneurship through second chance’, that has been realized during 2018-2019 has come to and end. The 2REVIVE project was born based on the realisation that although several first-time entrepreneurs fail within the first years of opening a business, but with special and targeted resources, educational materials, mentoring, assessing and reflecting on any possible gaps in the area of entrepreneurial competences, significant support can be given to support the second-chance entrepreneurial initiatives of individuals.
For this purpose, PRISM and 6 other European partners have been working together on the production of various resources and outputs, aiming to build the confidence and competences of individuals who are planning to take a second chance in entrepreneurship. The following intellectual outputs have been developed during the two years and translated to all partners languages:
- Research on behavioural attitudes towards second-chance entrepreneurship
- Online self-assessment tool
- Guide4Mentors
- Guide to second-chance entrepreneurs’ success
Arriving at the final stage of the project, during December 2019 PRISM has been not only present in the final conference of the project in Warsaw, Poland, but organised a local small-scale multiplier conference in Enna, with the participation of various stakeholders.
It has been a great experience to take part in the development of this innovative project, and PRISM is continuing its work to enrich even more people with entrepreneurial competences supporting to turn their ideas into action.
